How to write the perfect blog: subject to continuous change & work in progress

Writing and setting up a supposedly perfect travel blog on Asia to meet the specific needs of a finely selected target audience- is this even possible or a must-do? My personal reflection and conclusion regarding my own travel blog and personal intention.

Writing a travel blog with a specific focus upon Asia Pacific has always been a matter of heart and long-desired wish, which I finally put into place by building my travel blog website piece by piece. However, especially in the beginning- also considering that I have never really done anything comparable- a lot of question came to mind, circling around my head for quite a while.

How to create a supposedly good and appealing blog? How to structure, divide and cluster different sections, categories and topics? How to decide what kind of language to be used, e.g. German (my mother tongue) vs. English to reach a broader, international community? Better to write in formal vs. informal terms? How to integrate my audience and let them interactively participate? Who in specific do I want to address anyhow? How frequent to post something? How to link that to social media?....

The list of questions went on and on and I was on the hunt for creating a "perfect" blog webpage people can access to get inspired and collect impulses from for their own travel itineraries.

I did a lot of research on travel blog creations, reading articles, comparing my own content and set-up with other travel blogs and even public websites to collect impulses, adjust and become better. It felt like a marathon race, aiming to find the perfect solution-fit for my own means.

However, in the course of search, I soon realized that comparing my own intention and content is neither to be compared and/or transferred to other travel bloggers websites. Why should I aim to create a piece of work that is aligned with the expectation and advise of other people I do not even know, rather than staying authentic and sticking to what I really want to share with the world? There was no means or rationale. So I stopped searching. I stopped comparing and came to the conclusion that all, my style of writing, my pictures, my content shall all be based on my personal consideration.

Hence, everything I share on my blog comes from me, my impressions, my heart; from Sinja- a globe trotter and travel-loving person with a great passion for Asian countries. A person, who is not claim to be a content creator expert, a social media manager/ influencer. or being sponsored. No. But a person that aims to stay true to herself, her experiences and reviews, insights on intercltural encounters. I write about whatever makes me feel good, whatever I consider worth sharing and whatever I consider beneficial for others to read and know about when being on the hunt for authentic travel insights, recommendations and advises. Can I ensure that you see and experience the things the way I do/did? Absolutely not, as everything in life is a matter of perspective , bound to ones own viewing, which is dependend on so many influencing factors. Plus, perspectives and experiences are- again, as everything in life- matter to continuous change.

This blog is a partial reflection of my own story and travels that I share with the outside world for a glimpse of possible adventures and things to consider when traveling Asia. It aims to share trabsparent information rather than mainstream highlights and critically reflects hyped, viral spots and attractions with seeking for new alternatives and/or travel sights to put on ones list instead for a more authentic travel experience. Therefore, I am not striving for perfection but for a realistic insights and reproduction for you, my readers. If you are coming along my journey, I am happy to have you. And of course, I am always open for suggestions, questions, remarks and comments. Thank you for taking your time in embracing my blog and content, listening to my stories. If only one post or insight helps one person reading, my desire and wish has already been completed.
